BIG BROTHERS & BIG SISTERS OF SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, INC

Services: Children, single parent children given priority, are matched to a volunteer of the same
sex or to a couple for a long term meaningful relationship based on personality, age,
residence, & interests. Teen Program matches older teens with younger students and
is similar to the regular program run by the BB&BS. Lunch Buddy Program matches
individuals with a child for one lunch hour a week.

We offer a broad spectrum of programs in the areas of Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
Cost: $20 per year. Limited scholarships are available.

COMMUNITY RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Services: Low-cost programs in aquatics (swimming lessons & fitness), sports (softball,
football, soccer, volleyball, etc), arts, & general leisure. Discount tickets to
Wisconsin attractions including; the Milwaukee Zoo, Wisconsin Dells, & Great
America. All ages welcome. Non-Sheboygan residents have slightly higher charges.
Cost: FREE for some programs: Free lunch ½ off fees & Reduced lunch ¼ off fees

Services: Educational opportunities with Child care provided, home visiting through Parents As
Teachers, Resource & lending library, information & referral, parent/child activities,
used as a site for WIC & immunizations in Plymouth, & prenatal classes
Cost: FREE mostly, some programs have minimal material fees with scholarships available

GIRL SCOUTS OF MANITOU COUNCIL
